Lots of downloadable presentations, cards, math activities, and assemblies for Valentine’s day on Tuesday. Great site for teachers, I highly recommend joining. (Disclosure: I do work for TES promoting their resources, but signed on to do it because they share free resources that are curated by teachers and it is the largest network of English speaking teachers in the world.)

The description of the book will update some time next week to include the really great reviews we have from Thomas Friedman and many education pioneers. It is very exciting and we’re very grateful for our friends who’ve read and given us feedback. This book is such a dream and a long time since the five years a go we started the Flat Classroom project with 23 students.

I’ve tried soaking them in water - not great. The trick is according to One Inch World is soaking them in liquid water colors. Read how to do it here.
The money I spend on liquid watercolors will be worth it, compared to replacing our crayola markers all of the time.
Another…why didn’t I think of that?
Love this trick for recycling dried out markers.
